Posters Put Up In L.A County In Attempt To Solve Murder Cold Cases

In an attempt to get some public help and receive some fresh clues, the Justice For Murdered Children organization and the LAPD are working together to solve the murder cold cases they have on file.

Their biggest attempt is to plaster posters across the Los Angeles County. These posters features the victims faces.

They vary in amount per poster, but there are a total of 48 homicide victims who are featured in this attempt.

10 bus shelters all the way from West L.A, East L.A, Arcadia, and even to the San Gabriel Valley will see these faces of the victims. Each posters in RED asks "“Do you know who MURDERED us?”.

They also encourage those who know to please reach out to the LAPD and several nonprofit victim's rights organizations.

As well, because many L.A county residents sit in traffic daily, electronic posters will be used as well. The billboards will go up on the 91 freeway and near the 710 freeway. Due to the abundance of victims feature, the billboard will change every four weeks.

Graciously, this ad space was donated by Clear Channel, who is known for working with community nonprofits on different campaigns.

The LAPD is hopeful that these posters will further along their cases.

"We don't want anyone to be forgotten," said Capt. Billy Brockway, who heads the LAPD’s South Bureau homicide division. "If there's something that aids us in the ability to do so, we're all for it."
