A Leon County circuit judge is extending the deadline for recounts in two of the three close races in Florida. The judge claims that antiquated equipment in Palm Beach County is the reason he is pushing back the deadline five days to November 20th in the governor and agriculture commissioner races. The deadline was originally 3 p.m. Thursday. Palm Beach's voting machines cannot count all the races at the same time. Ballots must be entered three different times to get the results from three races. The county is currently tabulating the results in the U.S. Senate race and expects to have those results by Thursday's deadline.
